My Bio

Ms. Dellaverson began her legal career representing plaintiffs in Title VII litigation, with the law firm of Harris & Kahn, in Philadelphia, PA. She worked closely with the EEOC in a number of cases in Philadelphia and Washington DC. After moving to California, she represented management as a partner with the firms of Schachter, Kristoff, et al. and McKenna & Cuneo. In 1997 she helped found the employment law firm of Curiale Dellaverson Hirschfeld & Kramer, LLP.

In 1999, Ms. Dellaverson began transitioning to employment neutral work, and was formally trained in both facilitative and evaluative mediation techniques. Ms. Dellaverson was selected to serve as a mediator and expert neutral evaluator by the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, and regularly serves the federal court as a mediator and expert evaluator in employment litigation.

She has also served as an independent investigator for a number of high-profile and sensitive matters, including allegations of misconduct brought by and against lawyers, judges, and other senior executives and professionals. She has frequently conducted seminars on properly investigating employee claims.

Ms. Dellaverson has appeared on local television stations and National Public Radio to discuss developments in discrimination and harassment law. She has presented programs for many organizations, including the Practicing Law Institute and the State Bar of California, on trying discrimination cases and other employment issues. She has published numerous articles on discrimination topics, including one of the first ones on sexual harassment: Sexual Harassment in the Workplace – How to Recognize It and Avoid Liability (Labor and Employment Law News, Fall 1983).
